Nolan is a Machine Learning Research Engineer for Mined XAI. He holds an M.S. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Purdue University, specializing in machine learning, signal processing, and computer vision. He has experience as a Lead Data Scientist at AFRL, where he developed advanced ML models (LSTM, GRU, ResNet, XGBoost, Temporal KANs) and led multi-disciplinary research teams to improve model performance, accelerate data processing, and support high-impact AI programs. Nolan’s background in human-ML teaming, uncertainty quantification, and real-time analytics strengthens our mission to build scalable, transparent AI systems for real-world use.
